NOTICE OF PARENT/GUARDIAN PREVIEW MEETING
Jump Rope for Heart
Twin City had a VERY successful Jump Rope For Heart this year! We went well beyond our goal of $4,500 by raising an amazing $7,763! Ellie L. was our top fundraiser, she did an absolutely extraordinary job of raising over $800. The following students also worked hard and were our top fund raisers, raising $200 or more: Kade H., Ben. G., Rachel Z., McKinley D., Topher M., Rye G., Jason D., Hannah W. and Austin B.
We want to thank everyone who participated in raising money for the American Heart Association and all of our students for their hard work and dedication in learning how to keep their heart healthy. Be sure to ask your student one of the tips they learned from The Scare Squad.
Way to go Tigers!

Elementary Progress Report Changes
There has been a district-wide change to the frequency and scheduling of elementary school progress reports. Beginning this school year, we are aligning our elementary grading periods with the secondary schools. We will no longer be reporting at the trimesters, but will instead provide semester progress reports for all elementary students. This will give our elementary teachers additional time in the fall to get to know their students and assess their learning for more accurate and comprehensive reporting to families. In short, elementary progress reports will be done twice each year, once at semester and once again at the close of the year. There has been no change in the fall conference expectations, however. Fall conferences will be held November 16th and 17th this year, giving teachers a chance to share current student progress with families. Please contact the school with questions or concerns at 360-629-1270.
